Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said in a post on the X platform that the stablecoin USDT, a technology developed by Tether in 2014, is now used by many people and adopted by several governments, and that USDT is used by hundreds of millions of people around the world, especially in emerging economies, and therefore is not just a "crypto" but should be considered a digital dollar.
