The Solana community votes to pass the proposal "Allocating 100% priority fees to validators"
PANews reported on May 28th, according to the official governance page, the Solana community has voted to pass a proposal that allocates 100% of priority fees to validators, replacing the current structure of 50% burn and 50% reward. The vote ended at epoch 620 with a support rate of 77.77%. The proposal suggests adjusting the priority fee structure by rewarding validators with all priority fees in order to ensure they have proper incentives to prioritize network security and efficiency.
