Federal Reserve Kashkari stated that the resilience of the U.S. housing market surprised me; once inflation consistently falls back to 2%, we can cut interest rates; we need to patiently wait until we are confident that inflation is falling; perhaps we will have to wait until 2025 for a rate cut; as political heat rises, the Federal Reserve is more focused on its own mission.
