Fed rate cut may be delayed until July, CPI data higher than expected
According to the Jin10 report, Art Hogan, chief market strategist of B Riley Wealth, said that the CPI, both overall and core, both on a monthly and annual basis, is higher than expected. That's enough to delay the first rate cut by at least a month, possibly to July, amid debate over when and whether the Fed will cut rates.
