Marathon Digital, the largest publicly traded cryptocurrency miner in North America, has incorporated global expansion into its strategic plan.Charlie Schumacher, Marathon Digital's vice president of corporate communications, said, "We're looking at Africa. We see Bitcoin mining as a technological solution in the energy sector, and Africa could be a good place to prove that proposition."
