Spot Bitcoin ETFs Other Than GBTC Hold More BTC Than MicroStrategy
Spot Bitcoin ETFs other than GBTC now own more than 192,000 BTC, surpassing MicroStrategy's holdings. As of 5 February, MicroStrategy holdings totalled 190,000. Over the past month, GBTC in shades of grey has been reducing its BTC holdings due to profit-taking or seeking to reduce fees, and as of yesterday, the fund held just over 470,000 bitcoins, with the data showing that all U.S. spot bitcoin ETF issuers and MicroStrategy hold 4% of the current number of bitcoins in circulation.
