Supervillain Labs to launch Web3 game with investor Aptos Labs

On 8 February, GameBeat reported that Supervillain Labs has received an investment from Aptos Labs and will be launching new Web3 games in partnership with Aptos, which will provide the foundation for the game studio's creations through its high-performance blockchain network. Supervillain's first game, Supervillain: Idle RPG, will reportedly feature Aptos-native NFT items such as Aptos Monkeys, Aptomingos and Bruh Bears as characters. Players who complete the relevant tests in the game will receive unique NFTs based on their character type, and game assets will be located on the Aptos blockchain to ensure compatibility with future Supervillain releases. A gameplay demo of Supervillain: Idle RPG will be available on Aptos at the end of February.
