EOS founder Daniel Larimer (BM) posted a discussion about the new blockchain database code, stating that it has increased from 250,000 inserts per second to 650,000 inserts per second. This is an inconspicuous failure of the CPU hardware prefetch predictor and discussed methods for fixing it.
