Manta team members: Nodes received 135 million access requests, severe communication blockage between dApps and the chain
Deep Tide TechFlow News, the Manta team on the X platform stated that they encountered a carefully planned DDoS attack on the network. This occurred at 9:30 AM UTC time, exactly during their TGE event. Since the Manta TGE, Manta's RPC nodes have received over 135 million access requests. Currently, Manta's blockchain is running securely and funds are safe, but communication between dApps and the chain is severely disrupted.
Manta is developing more DDoS mitigation measures and communicating with partners and service providers to deploy countermeasures.
Previously reported, Manta Network stated on social media X that around 5 PM their Manta Pacific chain experienced an RPC attack which is currently being resolved. The chain is operating normally, blocks are being produced as usual, and accessibility will be restored soon.
