Five companies, including Grayscale and ProShares, submitted applications for Ethereum Futures ETFs.
On August 2nd, Eric Balchunas, a senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, posted on social media that there are currently 6 companies that have submitted applications for Ethereu m Futures ETFs. These companies include Grayscale, Bitwise, Roundhill, VanEck, and Proshares, with the applications being submitted on August 1st in the local time zone.
Volatility Shares plans to launch an Ethereum Futures ETF called "Ether Strategy ETF" and has already filed an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
