USDT Total Market Cap Reaches $81.4 Billion, Nearly Recovering All Market Cap Lost After Terra Crash
Tether stablecoin USDT has reached a total market cap of $81.4 billion, according to CoinMarketCap data. Tether assets fell nearly 20 percent in the second quarter of 2022, according to Bloomberg, which reported that the amount peaked at about $83 billion last May when the Terra crash prompted investors to sell off cryptocurrencies across the board. USDC and BUSD are about to recover all the market capitalization lost after the collapse of the Terra algorithm stablecoin, after USDC and BUSD have been hit one after another this year.
