CryptoQuant CEO: If the fee switch is activated, $500 million worth of UNI will be burned annually
ChainCatcher News, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju stated that if the fee switch mechanism is activated, the price of Uniswap could rise parabolically.
Even considering only v2 and v3, the protocol's trading volume has reached 1 trillion USD since the beginning of the year. If the trading volume remains unchanged, approximately 500 million USD worth of UNI would be burned annually. The trading platform only holds 830 million USD worth of UNI, so even with unlocks, a supply shock seems inevitable.
